Exhibits A and B - let's just nip this in the butt now IMO. We have plenty of other GMs to vote on articles, we don't need to vote on our own
This is why we shouldn't vote on our own RTs/Pods - Believe I brought this up when 6.0 began, and with so many GMs we really shouldn't need to vote on them. |

If someone votes a 5 I will vote 95 to get it to a normal 50k. Its clear we have some GMs who caught feelings and want to punish work put in by GMs who are adding content to the league. I never have nor will I ever punish a GM for work they put in. BK and I have butt heads every step of the way thus far in 6.0 I voted his article 50k (generally it's what I give everyone who puts solid effort in) I gave Druce above 50k because he went above and beyond People dropping 5k and 35k is petty bullshit. How you police that? Not sure but it seems like the OP rather reward the petty and focus on those trying to set balance to reward. |

I'm open to working with the Max/Min stuff. Even 30/70 is fine for articles like Druce's that take a ton of time to get together. |

I think 60k is fair for any article. I spent over an hour on a mvp article and someone gave me 21k or some shit.
Pods are easy 50k that's why you rarely get articles.

For the record I wrote 2 articles and did not vote. I got 17k 20k and 25k for over an hour of work on my mvp. I photoshoped and made it look nice.
I think an hour and a half of work doing an article is work 30k.

yeah im fine with keeping voting people just need to be more reasonable. I don't see any reason to restrict it when making a minimum and maximum will just restrict the kind of content we will see. I could get some chuckles or cool insight out of a short article worth 10k. At the same time if someone gets an idea for a 100k article you bet your damn tootin i want to see that article and want the incentive to create those types of articles there

Regarding a poll format, we essentially do that but do not limit the exact amounts to what the GMs put in the polls. By allowing votes you can vote irregular amounts and I think most people like that.
Regarding mins/maxes, we should not have a min (See Chapp's OT article on gangstas). As for maxes, I think eliminating the self votes would solve this problem, and I don't think we want to assign some arbitrary max and then have someone do something really awesome one day and be unable to reward them appropriately for it.

I don't think we should have a minimum or a maximum. Some articles (Chap's shitty video thing) are terrible and shouldn't get much, if anything. Other articles (movie posters, which I expect we will get some day) are fucking amazing and deserve much more then 60k. We, as a community, ought to be able to reasonably assess the value of what GMs create and reward them accordngly.
I think we should not be able to vote on our own articles/RTs/podcasts. That is common sense.
I think we need to all be reasonable people and not do stupid shit like create voting blocs to upvote or downvote an article.
I think this system is great - we have some good content coming, people are getting paid, and I'm afraid if we keep pushing boundaries and being petty it will be overhauled so it is harder to earn currency. That will make people less willing to provide content and will result in a less fun league.
