Granger is one of the few four year college players in this draft and is as complete a wing player as you'll find in this draft. He has a prototypical body for a TMBSL small forward and pairs that with good strength and quick and easy verticality. He has shown the ability in college to score and do it at many levels, showcasing his talent against solid mid-major talent at both Bradley and New Mexico during his career.
Granger can score, but he does all of his scoring within the team concept and is the ultimate team player. He passes the ball well and has nice court vision and did a nice job creating good looks for his teammates as opposing defenses flocked to him. He handled the ball well also and stayed out of trouble turnover-wise. His handle is good enough that he can create his own shot in the paint and separate for jump shot looks as well. He's got a solid stroke although he could be more consistent with it. His footwork is phenomenal and he routinely made defenders look silly facing him up.
Granger's team played a lot of zone defense, so he hasn't had many chances to show of his defensive ability and how it would translate, but when he has had the opportunity he has shined. He will bully perimeter players with his size and strength and should be a good man defender at the next level. He also gives good effort on the boards and should be a plus in that area as well.
While Granger doesn't present much opportunity for upside, he is a great plug and play option for any team near the top of the draft with aspirations to find that last piece to compete immediately.
