this timeline is off. there were no purchaseable amnesties in 4.0, they were introduced in 5.0 along with the new article voting system. i don't remember exactly which one happened when but they were definitely both in by the 2005 season per this post tmbsl5.proboards.com/thread/1821/rules-posti don't care what we do with amnesties either way, just want people to have all the facts when they're making decisions Well this snarky ass response aged well. projection |

the problem isnt amnesties its the infinite amount of currency you can earn with low effort. dirt's getting 80k for pictures of cars. and he can do that an as often as he wants each season. my thoughts on how to solve the issue: 40k max on articles. go back to a 3 article per season limit. franchise upgrades. maybe even 2 articles per season. maybe a tax after each season. regardless, the active GM income is at an all time high so of course we have a lot of amnesties. theres nothing else to spend the money on. if we were to limit it to as often as buyouts then GMs would amass millions of currency with nothing to spend it on. |

Get off your ass and make an article. I do them so I can spend 110k on the draft and give out content to less active gms.
