Could a move be in the works?
According to sources close to Phoenix GM AndrewLuck, the Suns are weighing their options in the trade market. Luck is disappointed with how things are going this season. One concern in particular is Anderson Hunt's lack of improvement on the court.
The Suns are getting plenty of strong offers for star forward Luke Maye. Although Luck is concerned with the organization's current assets (or lack thereof), he has expressed doubt that any future draft pick could live up to Maye's talent level. "We feel like we have a no doubt future Hall of Famer. He's young and on a great contract. He won't be moved easily," says Luck.
Only time will tell if Luck decides to pull the trigger, but it seems like the Suns will have to be given an offer they simply cannot refuse. Anderson Hunt, however, seems more likely to be moved. He might be better suited to serve as a shooting guard for an outside offense. It is worth noting that Hunt's contract will expire after this season.
