Brought it up in shout but I thought it'd be a cool idea if we held like a weekly poker tournament online with PokerStars or w/e with a 10k bucks buy in and payouts to top x finishers.
Apparently this supposedly isn't hard to set up according to Bankz. Want to know how much interest there'd be for this so we can maybe knock out a schedule to try it out.

you can wager on the winner of a tmbsl poker tournament you cannot use league currency outside the league, or outside currency in the league the currency wouldn't be leaving the league or outside currency added to it. You would just be betting on yourself to win. |

What exactly is the difference between "betting on yourself to win, then win x amount of bucks if you get 1st/2nd/3rd place" and a buy-in? Bet 10k on yourself, win the tournament, win 10k. Buy in with 10k, five other people buy in with 10k, now the pot is 60k and the winner gets 50k (or whatever the breakdown would end up being). Betting on someone to win a poker tournament wouldn’t be a 1:1 payout. |

Betting on someone to win a poker tournament wouldn’t be a 1:1 payout. Neither would most casino activities that we have here. My assumption is that Eric doesn't want to provide an opportunity for someone to win a significant amount of league currency for something that isn't actually league-related. |
