Coming out of a small, unheralded program, Jones has a knack for finishing with a quick jumpshot, especially when the game is on the line. Not a great leaper, but that hasn't impacted his ability to get his jumpshot off at the college level. Outside of the game winning shots Jones is all function, no flash - makes the easy pass and avoids the turnover, plays solid fundamental defense and doesn't gamble, boxes out and cleans the glass. A textbook winning player.
