have a bunch of 86-87 Fleer from when i was a youngster but not in good condition. bought them at Eckerd Drugs after school for 50 cents per pack and there were plenty to be had. unopened box that could've been bought for $20 w/ tax back then now worth between $60k-$80k.  |

I bought a bunch of Daniel Lynch 2 years ago. Like probably 100 bowman chrome auto's . A gold wave just sold for $450 and I've got 4 Golds . I should make a killing off of him

my dad also had a massive collection, sold something like 300k cards to his old collecting buddy and just kept all the rare barry sanders cards he had. i grew up opening boxes w/him and reading the backs of cards etc. i follow the thread on tmb and think they're cool to look at, but the hobby is just so expensive now i have no interest in actually collecting myself.
