Given eric's 7.0 announcement (https://tmbslsix.proboards.com/thread/5746/7-commissioner) and the lack of anyone displaying any interest at all of commissioning the league it looks like we are faced with a choice:
#BK4COMMISH
or
#FOLD
If the first situation is acceptable to enough people that we could reasonably add a few people and actually do a 7.0 I would be able to start to prepare nowish, which would be important for success. If not, then we can just all ride into the sunset which is probably the best decision anyway.

I think I'm out for the start of 7.0 as well. If things get going and I've wrapped up wedding festivities and all that, I'll take a look at re-joining.

I will not be around for the start of 7.0 if eric isn't commishing. If it turns out to work, and GM spots are open, I may join. I just don't want to waste the time alpha testing when I've experienced the goat.

With only 7 votes for yes currently, the results don't look promising for #BK4COMMISH
Hopefully someone else will step up, I'd prefer it anyway.
However, if that doesn't happen, I do know of other sim leagues, that if launching a new league (7.0), we could probably entice enough to join (~13 or so?) that we could have a quorum. We could also start advertising the league on reddit like r/findaleague/ and r/nba/, and other forums and entice a good amount of people to join. I think this was more difficult recruiting because we were always looking for people after the league had already started. The chance to grab a team for the creation draft would be a lot more enticing to new gms. A league that is over 50% new blood could be pretty fun.
