today is the winter solstice, the day with the most darkness of the year, but it is also a hopeful day because tomorrow will have less, and the next day, and the next day - this is how that pattern works. another kind of pattern is when things just get worse and worse, and this is the pattern we see with covid vaccines wearing off:
-the circle markers are when the CDC was releasing breakthrough death data once a week, until they started getting bad during Delta so the CDC deleted the data off their website
-the triangle markers are when i got breakthrough death data from every state i could and divided it by the total covid deaths. this is reasonably accurate when 47 states were reporting, but once only 19 states were i needed to change toooooooo
-the square markers, when i divided it by the total covid deaths of only the states that reported breakthroughs
the data unambiguously shows what an objectively great job vaccines are doing; there's 100,000,000 some odd americans who haven't gotten any boosters, aren't taking any precautions, were vaccinated over a year ago, god knows how many variants and subvariants later, and these people are STILL at much lower risk than the unvaccinated, this is an astonishing accomplishment of medical science... but this data is kept quiet and squirreled away, because the CDC and the rest of the government and the media and the rest of the country need it to be that vaccines make us bulletproof
they don't
and neither do boosters, which is why they also stopped broadcasting that data. get every shot you can, but with deaths up 33% so far remember to watch out for yourselves these holidays, because no one else is going to
