Jerry brings the effort in about every way, a necessary trait given his poor athleticism. His lack of quickness will hurt his ability to score inside at the next level, and his lack of elevation will affect his ability to get off quick shots from behind the line and finish at the rim. However, his FT% is solid, and he'll immediately establish a role as a pesky perimeter defender. Always in the right place at the right time to grab the rebound, Jerry will also win coaches over with his scheme first move the ball mentality. Scouts don't see much growth potential - it's humanly impossible for him to try harder, and trying hasn't added any inches to his vertical yet.
