A young talent that can score in bunches, scouts have him pegged as the best player in this draft a few years down the road. Spends a lot of time on the perimeter to hunt for mismatches and show off his smooth shot, baiting defenses into double teams and firing passes to teammates like a young Kevin Love, which hampers his rebounding. However, his one-on-one scoring ability and playmaking abilities while powerfully driving inside to finish is rarely seen in young players of his size. Needs to add functional strength to stop getting pushed around on the defensive boards, and needs reps to avoid silly turnovers against professional defenses, but scouts expect big things from Banchero down the road.
