Only a single collegiate season was enough for McAdoo to show real talent and a game bristling with potential for TMBSL scouts. He blocks shots reasonably well given his height, thanks to long arms and good timing. He has a variety of baby hooks and cute shots around the rim that are fairly effective, and he has a decent jump shot. He is a bit slow up and down the court, showing his speed to be vertical and not lateral. His height and weight being what they are, though, has shown that much larger centers can be effective backing him down and getting to their spots, so he may give up easy scores from time to time, but he more than holds his own on the boards. Despite his age, scouts don't expect much growth from McAdoo.
