Fresh off of national title and winning several major collegiate awards, O'Bannon is finally ready to profit off of his game and likeness in TMBSL. Transitioning from a power forward for UCLA to a pure small forward in TMBSL shouldn't be terribly too hard for Ed, as his game is more suited to working outside the paint. He has a solid jumpshot but needs some work from professional three point range. He should be a willing scorer, given his output at UCLA the past 2 seasons, and his strong handling ability preventing empty possessions. Notably, he scored in double-figures every game his senior year, so he wants the ball. He is a good offensive rebounder, choosing to crash the glass hard whenever teammates are working for their own shot instead of standing idly by, but doesn't put in the same effort on the defensive boards. He needs to get a little stronger, and a little more patient defensively, to become a great player, though. He will need to train to guard wings full-time instead of bigs, which means improving his perimeter awareness. An older player (having lost a year to NCAA transfer rules), he leaves scouts wondering about his long-term growth.
