An electric leaper out of the Palmetto State with a nose for the offensive glass, English attacks the rack with a relentless array of athletic post moves that have led him to score in bunches during his time in Columbia, made all the more impressive by his rarely taking threes and being only a solid jump shooter. Defensively, he is a plus shot blocker on man or on help defense, but doesn't wow with any other defensive attribute, including rebounding. Despite wanting to be the focal point of the offense, he spreads the ball around well, and without an inordinate amount of turnovers.
