Tim DuncanPF6'1125021Wake ForestTim Duncan was undoubtedly the best player in college basketball last year. He'll bring an array of skills to TMBSL that will allow him to contribute immediately at an all-star level. His inside game is as refined as they come, which he combines with excellent strength and very good shot blocking, but his calling card is defensive fundamentals - he is simply impassable in the post. He knows every move, every counter move, every trick, it's as though he even knows every thought the opponent has before he has it, and even for a perimeter sized player his perimeter defense would rate as excellent. A team first player, he'll only look to pass out of the very frequent double teams, which is a blessing since his court vision is not the best. If you had to find something about Duncan's game to dislike, it'd likely be his limited athleticism - he's just not much of a jumper, but he never has been and there's no question his positional soundness will overcome that deficiency at the next level without much issue. He's only a somewhat above average jump shooter at this point and barely takes threes, and his frightening defensive prowess doesn't translate to the boards, though he is very strong on the offensive glass. A four year college player, Duncan won't see much growth at the next level.
