Tony BattiePF6'1123021Texas TechTony Battie enters TMBSL as a jack of all trades, master of none. He'll score with solid efficiency, but likely won't shoot often enough to make a huge impact there. He's a good enough rebounder on the offensive end that he won't be a liability for a big man, but he's never going to lead the league in that department, and he covers up his lack of explosiveness by nigh abandoning the defensive glass. He'll block a shot or two per game right out of the gate and does generate a solid number of steals for a big man. His jump shot allows him to knock down free throws at an above average clip, but he's not exactly a threat from deep. Battie is a solid player fundamentally and will be the type of player coaches loves and teammates hate as he rarely turns it over thanks to never passing, but he does play solid fundamental defense. Don't expect Battie to grow much at the next level and is likely best suited as a third big man on a good team.
