Brand is the most polished player in the draft class. He's very solid fundamentally and just knows how to play. He was well coached in college by Coach K. Brand has an advanced post game and works hard on the offensive glass, but doesn't have the size to protect the rim and secure the defensive rebound. He does an adequate job blocking shots but will need the rest of the team to pick up the slack on the boards. He'll be a plug and play guys as a rookie and has a very high floor. You know what you're getting with Brand, a bull dog who plays hard, is effective in the post, but probably isn't ever going to be an absolute super star. One of the stronger prospects in recent memory Brand isn't going to get pushed around, but doesn't get much elevation. He's above average for a big man from mid range, but isn't a threat past 15 feet.
