Maggette is a raw prospect coming out after his freshman year at Duke. He shows a lot of potential with his athleticism and ability to get to the rim and finish. Maggette played third fiddle on a stacked Duke squad, but still managed to put up nice numbers for a freshman. Already a decent shooter from midrange, needs a lot of work from three. Defensively he's very raw at this point, but has the quickness and body to develop into a very good perimeter defender, and is already very strong on the defensive glass. Not a black hole but the ball is as likely to get to an opponent as to a teammate.
