i also noticed something i should mention, there are a number of players listed as last salary $0 but have a last team. in 5.0 i started keeping players alive by signing FA who hadn't been on a team all season to spare roster spots and kept doing that in 6.0 because why not. since they weren't really on those teams, teams cannot use their bird years. if you see a player listed as your last team and don't remember them being on your team, this is why
