Lamar Odom 20 6-10 220 SF Rhode Island Odom is a very versatile player who did everything for Rhode Island. He's got great ball handling ability for someone so tall and lanky and is a very willing passer. Physically his foot speed and quickness are lacking, he'll get blown past by quicker wings on the perimeter, yet he doesn't have the bulk to handle larger players and defend the post. He can finish very efficiently around the basket with either hand, though he's primarily a lefty. He uses his body well on offense to put himself in the best position to score. His jumper definitely needs some work, but he's not too bad for a guy his size. Defensively he effects shots and passing lanes with his length although it might not always show up on the stat sheet. On the glass he shows a willingness to rebound and has good positioning on defense, but doesn't show the same hunger for putbacks. Only a decent leaper, scouts don't see much growth from Odom going forward.
