Francis looks the part of a very solid point guard prospect coming out of Maryland. He's got a solid mid-range jumper which scouts think should translate from deep right away. He's a very good slasher, but struggled to finish against pro size, and needs to develop court vision to be the best overall floor general he can be - even limited to routine passes, he turns it over more often than he should. Had a ton of steals in college and is very quick on defense, however he has a tendency to fall asleep on defense and lose his assignment. Stevie Franchise has tremendous leaping ability and puts it to very good use on the backboards, but needs to work on his strength when entering the pros as larger guards will be able to bully him without much resistance. Francis is considered a finished product.
