discussed in shout recently. we've had this conversation before but it gained no traction.
the proposal is to change amnest cost to $1 currency for 1k contract (rounded up to the nearest hundred) with a 30k minimum.
thoughts?

Love the idea but think we should keep the minimum to 50k.
Goal of this would be to make it MORE costly to amnesty someone with a large contract, not cheaper for others.

ill just put my shout thoughts here as well i guess.
a) don't think the current amnesty rule has any issues
b) the guys who sign shitty contracts are likely those who aren't super active anyways
c) they'll just lose interest with shitty player stuck on roster or quit
d) are that many amnesties even used?

Don't like it. 30k minimum is way low.
I don't think we need to change it. If anything, you put a limit on using it like we do for buyouts. Once every x years.

this would need to be changed at least 6 years down the road i built my team around exploiting cheap and constant amnesties
