David RobinsonC7'125022NavyFar and away the best player in college basketball, there's a consensus among scouts that David Robinson will be the first overall pick in the 3031 TMBSL draft and the league offices are expecting a newfound interest in the league from fans who will flock to their TVs to watch the next decade of showdowns between Robinson and Shaquille O'Neal. Robinson's game is excellent in every area. He's exceptionally efficient on high volume and shows a combination of low post moves that are more refined than most players his age and plus athleticism in every area. Robinson also grabs rebounds at both ends at a high rate and is the best shot blocker in the class. His long arms rack up more steals than most seven-footers, and he'll find the open man when the opposition inevitably double-teams him, but doesn't overdo it passing. While Robinson gets to the free throw line a ton, he shows merely solid efficiency there. He's not a threat from three and will see most of his points come from the paint as he doesn't emphasize the mid-range game. Robinson's high usage also means he turns it over a touch more than you'd like, though it shouldn't be a major detriment to his game. Robinson should enter the league as a ready-made player and might make an All-TMBSL team as a rookie. Two years on a vessel boat ship have scouts leery on the potential of much future growth for the Admiral.
