Armen GilliamPF6'923023UNLVThe latest in a long line of future TMBSLers from Jerry Tarkanian's UNLV program, Armen Gilliam enters the league with the strength and inside scoring game that should make him an effective contributor the second he steps on a TMSBL floor. He shot 58% from the field in college and got to the free throw line frequently, where he was able to knock down 72% of his attempts. His exceptional strength rarely allows defenders to strip the ball from him and scouts love that he almost never turns the ball over. Gilliam isn't the greatest athlete, which shows up primarily in his lack of rebounding acumen. Despite his size and strength, he never averaged double digit rebounds in college and he'll enter the league below average in that category overall; although he will attack the offensive glass, the defensive rebound is someone else's job. He's a solid positional player but won't get up for many blocks or steals at the next level. Playing in the pro style system that he did in college, don't expect to see Gilliam gain much from TMBSL coaching as he's already been coached by one of the best.
