While his calling card will be his defense, Scotty Pippen is expected to be a very good all-around contributor at the next level. He's a plus defender in every sense and has a chance to lead the league in steals and will chip in more blocks than most small forwards as well. An excellent passer, and loves to set up his teammates. He's an above average rebounder for the small forward position and will likely amass a good number of double-doubles during his career.
As a "point forward" of sorts, Pippen turns it over a bit more than you'd like, but there's a chance that'll drop a bit at the next level when he's not far and away the best player on his team. And while he utilizes his quickness well to slash to the rim and score inside, he needs some work from mid-range and the three point line. He isn't the strongest guy in the world, so don't expect him to get to the line a ton.
Pippen should be a contributor right off the bat with a lot of room for development. If he can capitalize on that potential, he can be a perennial all-star.
