Jaxson HayesC6'1122020TexasA tremendous athlete with incredible length, Jaxson Hayes has the tools to become an elite rim protector but is over eager and frequently gets drawn into silly fouls - the ceiling is high but far. He possesses a surprisingly steady jump shot that should allow him to hit about 75% of his free throws at the next level and even shows some three point ability. Hayes was incredibly efficient in his lone season at Texas, but almost all of his points came off of putbacks, alley-oops, or from the line. Shows decent touch in the post up game but isn't overly strong. He'll need work to be a complete offensive threat. As he rarely puts the ball on the floor, turnovers haven't been much of an issue for Hayes to this point. Unlike his ability to wrangle offensive boards for putbacks, Hayes is a limited rebounder on the defensive end. Due to his natural gifts and style of play, coupled with the fact that his father was a professional athlete, the ceiling for Hayes is expected to be extremely high.
