Rui HachimuraPF6'823022GonzagaRui Hachimura enters TMBSL with a skill set we don't often see from traditional big men. He plays an intelligent game that creates very few turnovers and is able to hit at a decent clip from mid-range. He possesses a developing inside game but is likely aided down low by his above average athleticism. He won't rack up the counting stats on defense and might be the worst shot blocker in the class (not just of big men in the class), but plays fundamentally sound defense both down low and on the perimeter. As he's not the biggest guy and is relatively new to the game of basketball, Hachimura hasn't shown that he'll be much of a rebounder against the big boys at the next level. As such, he's likely at his best as a four in a small ball scheme where he can take advantage of the skills he does possess. He has taken some threes and with a lot of work could get them to pro level. There's plenty for Hachimura to pick up as he hasn't been playing basketball for the longest time, but he's also one of the older players in the class at 22 years old.
