Tyler HerroSG6'519520KentuckyAn offensive-minded shooting guard with flawless shooting form, Tyler Herro knocked down an astounding 94% of his free throws during his lone season at Kentucky. His excellent mechanics give scouts no doubt that his abilities from the line and mid-range will translate to the next level. While he wasn't quite as efficient from three, he's expected to catch up quickly there with more repetitions due to his excellent form. While Herro was underrated in his ability to get to the rim in college, his lack of strength and quickness has scouts questioning how well he'll be able to attack at the next level, even if he does have sneaky leaping ability and guile to finish efficiently if he can make it to the rim. A willing passer, Herro could benefit from being a little more thoughtful on some of his passes, but isn't a turnover machine. Doing so much of his damage from the perimeter keeps him far away from the offensive rebounds, but is a big plus on the defensive boards. Herro showed solid improvement during his freshman year in college but scouts don't believe he'll ever become the lead guy for a team, he just doesn't contribute enough on the defensive end.
