Alonzo MourningC6'1024022GeorgetownAlonzo Mourning is, without a doubt, the best defensive big man prospect in this draft. He blocked an astonishing 5 shots per game as a senior at Georgetown and every indication is that he'll have a similar impact at the next level. In addition to being a great defender, he shows exceptional strength that should compete against TMBSL bigs right away. He gets to the line frequently and, unlike many players of similar styles, can actually knock down his free throws with some semblance of consistency as he converted over 75% from the line during his college years. An unusually high percentage of Zo's points came on free throws in college as his inside game isn't particularly refined. He also turned the ball over way more than you'd like to see, especially for someone who rarely put the ball on the floor, and scouts point to this as his biggest flaw. One would expect that someone of his size and defensive ability would be an excellent rebounder, but that's not the case as he's only slightly above average in this area. After four years in Georgetown, Mourning is ready to contribute but unlikely to grow significantly.

I know you didn’t listen to the podcast, but Eric bases builds more off of NBA stats so I’m using those as the primary influence and trying to balance it with expectations out of college.
