Jim JacksonSF6'622022Ohio StateA do-it-all player on offense, Jim Jackson is a highlight reel waiting to happen. He attacks the basket, hits from mid-range, hits from deep, and does all of this with excellent efficiency. One of the things that scouts love most is that he's also great at setting up his teammates, averaging four assists per game during his illustrious college career. Scouts don't feel great about him on the other end, as he's not an engaged defender and, despite being a very good athlete, usually only shows those skills off on the offensive end. Frankly, he just isn't interested in playing defense. This can also be said about his abilities on the defensive glass, where he's way more focused on starting the fast break the other way than boxing out. It's a different story on the offensive end, where he sees the potential for easy buckets following offensive boards and therefore exerts quite a bit more effort on the glass on that end. The potential here is solid as Jackson shows all of the ability in the world with the only question being his commitment to getting better in the non-offensive areas.
