A natural scorer, Walt Williams established himself as one of the top offensive weapons in the TMBNCAA last year. He's able to fill it up from anywhere - inside, three, mid-range, or the foul line - and he really loves to shoot, which has scouts excited for his potential on that end in TMBSL. He rarely passes, however, which means more shot attempts but also a tendency to try to do the spectacular, leading to a decent number of turnovers.
Defensively, he's pretty athletic which should lead to a decent number of steals and blocks for his position. However, he's way more focused on the offensive end which means he'll give up his far share of easy buckets every night. He also seems to be less interested in grabbing rebounds than scoring, which is something that has bothered scouts.
Scouts know that with Williams, they'll get someone who can contribute on offense and has the potential to be really good defensively as well, but they're not sure how open he'll be to developing the other areas of his game.
