One of the most hyped players in the country following his high school career, Wiseman was expected to be one of the TMBNCAA's top freshmen last year before eligibility questions cut his season short and he withdrew from Memphis to train for the TMBSL draft. Despite the lack of visibility the last year, Wiseman should be the first big off the board in the 3028 draft and projects as a traditional big man scoring in the low post, grabbing boards (particularly on the offensive end), and blocking shots. He's at his best the closer he is to the rim and has an impressive jump hook that he is able to get off and finish with ease.
Opponents only shot 33% against Memphis during the few minutes Wiseman played, but he does have a tendency to go for the big block rather than playing fundamentally sound defense, which has teams wondering how good of a post defender he'll actually be at the next level. He's not particularly strong right now and relies on more of a finesse game down low and from three which could hamper him in the pros and while he shows signs of a developing mid-range game, it's not there yet, and his inability to navigate between the two zones doesn't stop him from trying, resulting in a comical number of turnovers given his nonexistent passing.
Reviews on Wiseman's growth potential are mixed. Scouts haven't really seen him play in almost two years and have no idea how much progress he's made in the past ~18 months. Before he kind of went to college, he was widely considered the top prospect in the nation.
