Patrick WilliamsPF6'721519Florida StateOne of the most explosive athletes in the college game, Patrick Williams is an extremely strong combo forward. Standing 6'7 but with a 6'11 wingspan, Williams' impressive length makes him capable of guarding four positions and he should consistently draw the opposition's best scorer night in and night out, though his size limitations mean he won't accrue many counting stats. He hit almost 84% of his free throws last season and projects as a very strong three point shooter, giving scouts hope that he will be a strong contributor from distance at the next level. The big question about Williams is his ceiling as a scorer. He has all the potential in the world - he's young, athletic, and possesses prototypical size - but he seems to lack aggressiveness on the offensive end and is probably too reliant on his athleticism to score inside at this point in his development. Stays within the offense and doesn't try to do too much passing, a sensible choice given his lack of plus ball handling. An adequate rebounder as a small forward, but will be below average to start his power forward career.
