Isaiah StewartC6'825019WashingtonAn old-school big man, Isaiah Stewart is unquestionably the strongest player in his draft class and should be one of the strongest players in TMBSL the moment he enters. He has a non-stop motor that made him effective at both ends of the floor during his lone season at Washington, where he led the Huskies in points, rebounds, and blocked shots. He shows an effective post game complete with a nice variety of jump hooks and up-and-unders and he's effective at getting to the line where he hit 77% of his free throws. The combination of his strength and effort make him a good defensive rebounder and a monster on the offensive glass, especially noteworthy given his willingness to stretch the floor with an adequate three ball. Stewart was solid defensively in college and possesses long arms, but he's unlikely to replicate his shot blocking numbers in the pros due to his lack of height combined with below average leaping and lateral quickness. Still, he never gives up on a play and should at least alter shots down low, even if the counting stats won't show it. He's a non-existent passer, averaging less than one per game in over 30 minutes. Scouts are mixed on Stewart's growth potential as he'll almost certainly put in all the work he needs to grow, but his height and lack of quickness and leaping ability likely put a ceiling on his future development.
