Larry Drew Sr.PG6'1"17022MissouriDrew is ready to step into a team from day one and can be a real coach on the floor. He'll get his teammates into the right sets and make sure to find them for good looks. Drew has a passable shot and can make some shots in the lane (showing significant improvement in his final two seasons at Missouri in converting his opportunities), but still by no means is that what he's comfortable doing. And he'll certainly make up for his lack of scoring by providing the good looks for the scorers on your team. He'll be perfect for teams looking to focus their scoring punch in the paint that just needs a capable floor general to get the ball into them to get their looks. He can overdo it sometimes, forcing entry passes where he shouldn't have, but we expect as he focuses more on his craft as a professional, he'll be able to clean some of this up. He also does a good job of directing of directing his teammates on the defensive end. He'll make sure they're playing connected team basketball. He always stays in good position, bothering his opponents on the perimeter and shutting down their attempts to drive and create penetration. He doesn't do much in the way of creating steals and transition opportunities, but he makes his bones by keeping his opponents uncomfortable and forcing them into settling for mediocre to bad shots.
