Kelvin RanseyPG6'1"17022Ohio StateIf you're looking for a distributor to help create shots for his teammates, look no further than Kelvin Ransey. He did an exceptional job of creating for his teammates while in Columbus, and he combines that with a silky smooth stroke that draws the gravity of the defense. We think those two skills will make him a tremendous pick and roll threat at the next level when he plays on-ball, and he will also be an asset off-ball as a catch and shoot threat. He needs to work on adding some moves to finish effectively in the paint to truly capture his full potential. Defensively, Ransey struggles with simply being an average athlete compared to his opponents at this level. He isn't a bad defender, but he certainly won't shine on that end. Scouts do give him credit though for rebounding his position passably. He had a knack for cleaning up long rebounds and turning them into transition opportunities for the Buckeyes.
