Casino (244 views)

I want to run a daily casino but I need to find an easy way to run it without Tim going crazy with the banks.

Im thinking about keeping a Casino Bank where you send and receive funds on Sim 1,6,11. I would maintain Casino Bank and only Tim would get involved a few days a Sim year?

I will post 8-10 games a day and I will have to get with Eric on max bets to make sure we don't get out of control.

the casino reward is bill's unless he wants to give it up or split it with you

we've done the two banks thing in the past and it's always been a disaster. if you do want to give it another shot i strongly recommend not doing it on an improvement day like sim 1

by current rule the only limit is 50k max winnings per gm per season, i'm comfortable keeping it that way

Daily tagging is fine, but it’d be great if everything was in one thread. That is, not a separate thread (and list of transactions) for that day’s NBA, MLB, and NASCAR or whatever. Just put it all in one thread and post the winnings and I can handle it in the morning.

Yeah when he was also DM I figured the casino reward was a good way to make up for the underpayment the DM received, but he isn't doing that anymore so I'm in favor of a hostile takeover.

Im not the best steward, but people have done the daily casino thing before and its hardly ever betted in and then the casino dm stops posting it because its pointless.

I did but the Cap was hit so there wasn't a point. It's harder to win via our bets now so nobody is hitting that 50 k cap

If dirt wants to do daily casino thats fine and he can have half the pay, but i expect itll eventually get stopped being used and posted and then i want my full pay back lol.

I tried to post a few different cool things to bet on in addition to the OU (since season pickem is the same shit and only 2 people ever did it), but those would never get betted in either. I dont mind posting casino threads but when only 20s and tim bets in them it makes me not want to post them.

You took over for bankz in 3013. You haven't posted a Daily Casino 1 time. You have only posted 29 times in now 12 seasons of the Casino.  What are you actually doing besides reposting odds already given to you by the software?

Right. Ive never done daily casinos because Ive never seen any casino dm post them for more than a few seasons before quitting. I have posted a second season-long casino along with the OU each season, and sometimes those get 0 posts. Why the fuck would I post daily casinos when the ones I do post get 0 bets half the time.

in the history of the casino there has never been 0 posts in a Season long Over under.

Bankz posted  13 daily casinos and 10 of those days had action from multiple people. 

Bankz ran the casino for 11 years and posted 114 casino related ways to bet(not including poker)

No one ever told me running daily casinos was the job of the casino runner, in my recollection most of those casinos have hardly anyone ever participating because they are stupid and are trivial amounts of currency. If people wanted more casinos they couldve let me know instead of try to usurp the job from behind my back. I really wouldnt of even minded until this ended up happening the way it did.
