Derrick FavorsPF6'926519Georgia TechDerrick Favors is an excellent athlete whose post repertoire improved significantly during his lone season at Georgia Tech, though he's still a tad reliant on his athleticism to dominate inferior college competition. His tremendous leaping ability makes him the frequent target of alley-oop passes and also allows him to excel on the offensive glass, but he'll need to add some muscle to his frame at the next level to become the force he's capable of becoming down low. He didn't get to the line frequently while at Georgia Tech and when he did, the results weren't pretty as he hit just 63% of his attempts. One of Favors' more appealing attributes are his soft hands that allow him to handle passes many bigs would struggle with. On the other end of the court, Favors does a fantastic job of altering opponents' shots. He's never going to lead the league in blocked shots but he's certainly not a liability there either. While he's developed a reputation as an outstanding offensive rebounder, he's perfectly capable on the defensive glass as well. Despite being one of the younger players in the class, Favors is very mature for his age and soaks up information which should allow for a great deal of improvement during his TMBSL career.
