Jerome Kersey has elite quickness, and uses it very effectively on the defensive end, by being a lockdown defender on the perimeter, with a knack for both interrupting passing lanes and blocking shots. His ability to defend most positions should make him a valuable glue guy on teams for many years to come. His inside scoring isn't very flashy, as he usually is assisted on his opportunities near the basket. Additionally, his jump shot is kind of wonky, and leads to a mediocre record at the stripe (69% nice) but he still prefers taking shots from the perimeter to using his athletic gifts in the post. He is only average on the glass, but definitely isn't a problem there, and has a decent amount of strength to not get pushed around in the post. Lack of skill improvement in four years of college suggests lack of skill improvement in his pro career.
