Auburn Chuck Person is a gritty wing that impresses with his extremely high strength, explosive hops, all combined with a very smooth jump shot, and frustrates with his refusal to put them to their best use, preferring to camp at the three point line. He does shoot a high percentage there but when someone with his physical gifts doesn't even attack the basket in college it's hard to imagine him suddenly starting to do so in the pros. He'll very rarely get to the line and surprisingly only shoot a decent percentage when he does, and is completely allergic to the offensive glass.
The rest of his game can be summed up as "meh". Passes a little more than most forwards, doesn't turn it over too much, doesn't do a great job coming from the weak side for blocks, will get in a stance on defense and stay in front of his man but not do much else, can't help but run into an above average number of defensive rebounds due to his athletic gifts, but the general lack of want-to holds him back here too and makes future growth unlikely.
