Forming Divisional Superteams (168 views)

Premise is pretty easy. I'm going to attempt to form the best team for every division . 10 players per division. Much like the MLB every user team must be represented

Atlantic Division

Players you could take

Washington Bullets - Alpha Kaba , OG , Tyus Jones , Caron Butler , Lionel Simmons
Charlotte Bobcats- Ike Anigbogu, Ed Watcher , Drew Gooden , Terrance Ferguson , Darius Miles , Nick Van Exel
Carolina Cougars -  Jusuf Nurkic , Jabari Parker , Brook Lopez , Joe Dumars
Atlanta Hawks - Joseph Fogarty
Orlando Magic -cpu
Charlotte Hornets -cpu
Miami Heat - cpu


Probably the weakest division to pick from due to the lack of  human users.  3 ghost teams

PF- Ike Anigbogu- Cougars
SF- Caron Butler- Bullets
SG- Terrance Ferguson- Cougars
PG- Tyus Jones- Bullets

Bench 
Joseph Fogarty- Hawks
Jabari Parker- Bobcats
Jusuf Nurkic- Bobcats
Joe Dumars- Bobcats
OG- Bullets

Strengths- Really good defensive stats and rebounding from the bigs. Alot of them are interchangeable. I went with the guys who could do a little of everything. The Wings are also elite rebounders . This team also has a deep bench and it was tough to pick between Dumars , Ferguson , and Butler. I felt Ferguson and Butler do more so they got the start. I also picked OG as a backup wing. 

Weaknesses - The PG position . Jones is good not great and Fogarty got the backup nod over NVE because I wanted to include King.

Toronto Raptors  Joe Lapchick ,Andrew Harrison
Philadelphia 76ers - CPU
Chicago Stags- Kevin Love

Lots of good bigs and they have an elite PG . Couple of elite Wings  . They appear to be much deeper than the Atlantic

Strengths - This team has a load of elite bigs. The starters are average on the boards but they don't miss at the line and accumulate defensive stats . Kyrie is still an elite level PG and they have the edge on the Atlantic  there.

Weaknesses - The wings are good but not elite. Worthy was in the past but is performing below par thus far. Pierce does a little of everything at SG. 

Snubs- John Beckman, Serge Ibaka

This team was hard to fill out . Not a ton of depth , an upgraded Josh Smith probably makes the team

Strengths- Once again elite bigs on the defensive end . High % shooters all around. Elite scoring from the wings and PG position. First team that could probably run an Outside offense well.

Weaknesses - Turnovers from the SF's and Rebounding from the starting bigs. You have JBC but Embiid is not a good board guy . 

Snubs- Nobody this division isn't very deep. 


Pacific

Strengths - the Deepest team in the league. The defense is phenomenal everywhere. Team might score 150 a game .

Weaknesses -  The PG position .

No doubt it is thanks to the Amigos franchise's, *checks notes*, zero 60 win seasons, zero division titles in the last 9 seasons while finishing an average of 21.6 games back of first place.

65,000. If I’m the Atlantic I think I try and find a way to start Ferguson and Dumars on the wing. You’d sacrifice some size but get the two best players out there.
