One of the more unheralded players in this draft, Mo Williams has intriguing intangibles, skills, and potential that could make the team that selects him very, very happy. He shows a decent touch around the basket, and finishes with creativity; he doesn't deal well with contact but can usually avoid it to get ball-in-hoop. Shoots a very good percentage from the line (85%), and shows a fairly consistent stroke from 3 point (though this could still improve some). Makes his living with his point guard skills: decent handles, good quickness, and top-tier passing.
Has poor effort and physical tools for the defensive end of the ball. Can sometimes put good pressure on the ball when needed. Not a good rebounder even for his position. Isn't very strong, but can be explosive. His potential is high.
