- A scoring machine who peaked mid-career in Minnesota, Blackmon Jr. was consistently among the best of the best during his prime, earning 11 All-Star nods and 6 All-League teams. One of the better distance shooters the league has ever seen.
- Came off the bench as a scoring guard for the 3004 champion Chaparrals, then returned to a starting position in Minnesota and posted 3 consecutive seasons scoring over 32ppg, a feat rarely seen in 6.0 (someone else can look this up to see who else has done it.)

- Re-signed by the Chaparrals in 3005 to a 6-year MAX deal and immediately traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Lenny Cooke and Scott Burrell.
- Re-signed by the Timberwolves in 3011 to a 7-year MAX deal.
- Claimed by the Chicago Stags in 3012 following the contraction of the Minnesota Timberwolves (from what I can tell, the contraction/waiver claims aren't documented in a clear place that I can find)
- Retired following the 3015 season, leaving 2 years and over $34m on the table.
