Offensively, Eddie Griffin is a shooting guard in a big man's body. Able to drain smooth three-pointers and hit difficult, contested turnaround jumpers in the post, Griffin struggles scoring at basket. Needs to improve his ball handling ability, doesn't put the ball on the floor. Very quick for his size, runs the floor like a guard too. Despite good passing skills, Griffin will force passes at times. Surprisingly good perimeter defense for his size, Griffin lacks defensive instincts on the block and in rotation. Attacks the glass on both ends of the floor. Needs to improve his strength at the next level, but has a ton of explosiveness.
