Michigan
Rose is a very talented and versatile player. His ability to get in the lane and drive the baseline is among the best I've seen. Once there he finishes well, and has a wide variety of moves and shots in among the trees. Against the larger players, he uses his excellent quickness to get to the hole, and he shoots over the smaller guards very effectively. His shot beyond the arc has shown improvement over the years at Michigan as well, but needs more improvement. Rose has excellent ball-handling and passing skills for an off-ball player at the next level. Jalen has improved on defense as well, developing into a good perimeter defender that occasionally plays passing lanes to great effect. He likely won't ever be a terribly effective shot blocker or post defender at the next level. While not as strong as other forwards, Jalen has solid leaping ability. Jalen has consistently improved each year while playing at Michigan, and no one expects his rate of improvement to slow when entering TMBSL.
