Temple Eddie Jones was a member of Temple's supercharged troika of scorers on a team with little depth. He and Aaron McKie were depended upon for most of the scoring, and came through again and again.
Jones is a smooth finisher inside, with twists-n-turns and elite footwork to work his way to the basket for a high percentage shot. He's a decent shooter, which extends to the 3 point line, but could use some improvement to truly threaten on the perimeter. His handling is average for the position, and he uses his quickness well to keep the ball in his hands. Passing for Eddie is mostly an afterthought, though he is more than capable. He generates a ton of steals in a strict zone defense, and is ready-to-go to employ that type of precision on the perimeter in TMBSL as well. He also has shown the potential to block shots, and play effective post defense. He projects more as a forward than a guard to help de-emphasize his outside shooting issues, but the rebounding is lacking. He's a strong, athletic player who has the potential to grow into a good starter in a few years.
