Larry Bird SF
6'9''
220
21
Indiana State
Larry Bird was a player that stood 6'9'' at 220 weights and was 21 years of age coming out of his school. Running the floor on fast breaks, posting up in a set offense, ridiculous fakes that catch the defender in the air, Larry has every ability to score inside that you'd expect from a player at any level. His jumpshot is fantastic, and he has good range beyond the arc as well. His handling is average for his position. He's not a particularly quick player, but not slow either, should be able to keep up with most forwards. Adequate passer of the ball. Decent ability to generate steals. Not much of a shot blocker, though is a decent defender in the post. While he does go out to the perimeter to defend his man, he is a step-slow on defense, instead prefering to rebound the ball and start a FB himself. Loves to follow up his own and teammates shots for offensive rebounds. Plays very strong, as he is an extremely physical and tough player that will hit people all night. While no one would refer to him as explosive [ignore picture], for a man of his size he has more than enough athleticism to elevate to help him find shots all over the court. All scouts agree that Larry Bird has the highest potential in this class.
