20s Questions - Round 1 & 2 (featuring TimPig & Bankz) (285 views)

[20s]

I am going to try something new here. 20s Questions is based on the classic game 20 Questions. In 20 questions, one player thinks of an item. The other player can ask up to 20 yes or no questions in order to guess the item in question. The sim league version is very similar. I will randomly choose something sim league related (current players, current GMs, teams, current commish, stats, former GMs, former commishes) and the player will have 20 questions to guess the item. If they correctly guess the item within 20 questions, I will give them 1,000 of my own hard earned skrousecoin. Straight from the Carolina Cougars' account. Hopefully this is somewhat fun. I will keep track of how the contestants have performed as well.

This was a fun exercise but I really have no idea how/if I should vote on this since it's not really an article in the traditional sense.

Yes, this is very little work but I wanted to give it a shot and it did take some time to think of the idea, make the list of all the answers, PM back and forth, and then format the article. Hopefully it provides a little content and entertainment for everyone.

I am not expecting to get very much money for doing this, but a little something would be appreciated. At least to cover my costs.

Yeah I think at the season I'd do 1k per time run (to ensure you at least got your money back) plus an additional 20k or something.

I do think it might be a little too easy. As it was unfolding, I found it hard to imagine a scenario where someone doesn’t win, but we will see how it goes.

It was easy to narrow between GM and player. Adding additional categories would make it a lot harder.

I feel like these should be along the lines of a RT. 

20s gets something like 10K and the people participating get 3K 

20s is putting the work on getting the games setup and he's also answering the two GMs so his reward should be higher.

I think those taking the time to play should be rewarded for the time they take out to play.  

I don't think 20s should have to pay out of his pocket to the participants.
