Clemon Johnson is a simple man. He grabs the ball and then puts it in the basket. Whether its his miss, a teammates miss, a deflected pass, or just at the tip-off Clemon See Clemon Grab. He pairs this with good athleticism, where he is very strong down low and able to power through opponents with his hops. Not terribly quick, he won't be mistaken for a perimeter defender, but is solid in the post and can block a decent amount of shots. He's an average free-throw shooter for his position, getting about 68% from the line, but won't be mistaken for a guy that will ever take shots from distance. Scouts think he has the chance to see a moderate increase in ability in the league.
This is all very ho-hum, what separates Clemon from the other glut of bigs in this class? Well, he has a dazzling array of dribble moves and plays with the ball on the string at all times. His ability to hang onto the ball leads to very little turnovers. This really stands out when compared to most "good rebound, good inside scoring, decent defending" bigs you'll see every year.
