Peterson is an old soul when compared to a lot of the other prospects in this draft class after being in college for 5 years. He left his mark in his final season as he was named the Big Ten Player of the Year, an All American and helped lead his team to a National Championship.
Peterson is a silky shooter and is able to hit shots from anywhere on the court. He brings great range after shooting, hitting 43% of his shots from deep his senior year. This is important as he loves to take deep shots, 55% of his attempts came from behind the arc. He is only a decent finisher when he drives the basket, so it's an area he will need to work on. Otherwise he will only fit in a specific offensive structure.
